Warranty Coverage Overview
ProVinylFencing™ is proud to offer comprehensive warranty protection for both our custom vinyl fence panels and professional installation services. This warranty demonstrates our confidence in the quality of our products and workmanship.
Material Coverage: Limited Lifetime Warranty (30 years) for all properties
Installation Coverage: 5-year comprehensive workmanship warranty
No Registration Required: This warranty is automatically in effect from the date of purchase – no registration forms or additional steps required.
Part I: Material Limited Lifetime Warranty (30 Years)
Who is Covered
This Limited Lifetime Warranty (30 years) covers all properties including single-family residential, commercial, governmental, institutional, and multi-family properties. This warranty extends to the original purchaser and is transferable to one (1) subsequent property owner as specified below.
The warranty period is thirty (30) years from the original date of product purchase.
What is Covered
ProVinylFencing™ warrants that our vinyl fence panels, manufactured from premium PVC profiles, will be free from defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship for the warranty period specified above.
Specific Coverage Includes:
- Structural Integrity: Cracking, splitting, or breaking under normal use
- Surface Protection: Peeling, flaking, blistering, or chipping of the surface
- Weather Resistance: Abnormal discoloration or fading beyond normal weathering standards¹
- Durability: Warping, rotting, or deterioration of the vinyl material
- Corrosion Resistance: Protection against rusting or corrosion of any embedded components
¹Normal Fading Disclaimer: After prolonged exposure to outdoor environments, all vinyl products will experience gradual fading over time, which is considered normal weathering. Abnormal fading is defined as color change exceeding industry standard Delta E measurements beyond normal weathering expectations for the geographic location and environmental conditions.
What is NOT Covered
This material warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from:
- Improper Installation: Damage caused by installation not meeting industry standards or manufacturer specifications
- Misuse or Abuse: Damage from improper use, vandalism, or intentional damage
- Acts of Nature: Fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, hail, hurricane, tornado, extreme winds, or other natural disasters
- Environmental Factors: Damage from animals, impact of foreign objects, or exposure to chemicals not intended for vinyl fencing
- Ground Movement: Damage from settling, shifting, collapse, or movement of ground or structures
- Normal Wear: Normal weathering, minor scratches from regular use, or standard environmental aging
- Non-ProVinylFencing™ Products: Damage to components, hardware, or accessories not manufactured or supplied by ProVinylFencing™
- Modification: Any alteration, modification, or structural changes made to the original fence installation
Warranty Claims Process
Step 1: Documentation
- Take clear photographs of the defective area from multiple angles
- Document the date the defect was discovered
- Gather proof of purchase and installation date
Step 2: Contact ProVinylFencing™
- Call 844-744-0707 or email sales@provinylfencing.com
- Claims must be reported within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect
- Provide photos, purchase documentation, and detailed description
Step 3: Inspection and Resolution
- ProVinylFencing™ reserves the right to inspect the defective product before replacement
- If determined to be a covered warranty defect, ProVinylFencing™ will replace the defective material at no charge
- Labor Exclusion: Material warranty does not include labor costs for removal, disposal, or installation of replacement materials
Part II: Installation Workmanship Warranty (5 Years)
Installation Coverage
ProVinylFencing™ provides a comprehensive 5-year workmanship warranty on all professional installations performed by our certified technicians.
Workmanship Warranty Covers:
- Installation Quality: Defects in installation workmanship including improper post setting, panel alignment, or gate installation
- Structural Stability: Issues with fence stability due to installation errors
- Hardware Function: Proper operation of gates, latches, and installed hardware
- Labor Included: Full coverage includes labor for repair or reinstallation of defective workmanship
Workmanship Warranty Exclusions:
- Customer Modifications: Any changes, additions, or modifications made by customer or third parties after installation
- Normal Settling: Minor settling or adjustments that occur naturally over time
- External Damage: Damage from vehicles, animals, weather events, or third-party actions
- Maintenance Issues: Problems arising from lack of proper maintenance or care
Transfer of Warranty
One-Time Transfer: Both material and workmanship warranties may be transferred one time to a subsequent property owner with the following conditions:
- Transfer applies to all property types (residential, commercial, institutional)
- New owner must notify ProVinylFencing™ in writing within thirty (30) days of property transfer
- Material Warranty: Limited Lifetime Warranty (30 years) continues for remainder of original 30-year term from original purchase date
- Workmanship Warranty: Continues for remainder of original 5-year term from original installation date
Remedy and Limitations
ProVinylFencing™ Remedy Options
When a valid warranty claim is approved, ProVinylFencing™ will, at its sole discretion:
- Replace defective materials with new or equivalent products
- Repair installation defects with appropriate materials and labor
- Provide refund equal to the original purchase price of the defective component
Product Availability
ProVinylFencing™ reserves the right to discontinue or modify products, including colors and styles, without notice. If the original product is unavailable, ProVinylFencing™ will substitute with comparable quality and value. Replacement materials may vary in color or texture compared to weathered original materials.
Liability Limitations
MAXIMUM LIABILITY: ProVinylFencing™’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the defective product or installation service.
EXCLUDED DAMAGES: ProVinylFencing™ shall not be liable for consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages including but not limited to property damage, landscaping costs, loss of use, or other indirect costs.
TIME LIMITATION: Any legal action related to this warranty must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues.
Legal Provisions
California Law Compliance
This warranty complies with California Civil Code Section 1723 and other applicable California consumer protection laws. Where state law provides greater consumer protection, those provisions shall apply.
Entire Agreement
This warranty constitutes the entire warranty agreement between ProVinylFencing™ and the purchaser. No distributor, dealer, installer, or other person is authorized to modify this warranty or make additional warranties on behalf of ProVinylFencing™.
Severability
If any provision of this warranty is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by state. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
