Vinyl and Acrylic Privacy Fence Panel, 6ft height 8ft width, Tan

We back onto a busy street and I was hoping it would help with the noise. It knocks a little off, not a lot. I would not buy it for that reason on its own.

What it does do is block the headlights at night completely. Clay at 6ft, and the frosted bands still pull morning sun into the kitchen side of the yard.

Used the 4ft to screen the pool equipment and trash cans on the side of the house. Three rails, two bands, and it hides the ugly part without walling it off.

The acrylic keeps that corner from going pitch dark, which matters because the panel and the timer are back there. Clay, matched the trim close enough.

From the sidewalk it does not look like a typical vinyl fence. The horizontal rails with the frosted bands between them read more modern than the vertical boards everyone else on the block has.

Two neighbors have already asked who did it. White at 6ft across the front of a corner lot, so it gets looked at plenty.

Got three quotes for 140 feet along the side and back. This one was not the cheapest, but it was the only company that actually builds the panels instead of reselling somebody elses.

That mattered to me. Went 6ft in Tan, finished in two days, and the number on the quote did not move once we signed. No add-ons at the end.

Two kids under six and a yard that opened straight onto the neighbors driveway. Fenced the whole thing at 5ft, which is four rails and three acrylic bands per section.

They cannot climb it, there is nothing to get a foot on. And I can still see the shape of them from the kitchen through the bands, which I did not expect to like.

Two shepherds that used to bark at everything through the old chain link. They cannot see out now except a blur through the acrylic, and the barking dropped off within a week.

Went 6ft in White. No gaps at the bottom for them to dig under either, since the rails run right down to the ground. Worth the wait on the schedule.

Our back gate opens onto an alley and the old chain link showed anybody walking by exactly what was in the yard. Six feet of this and that problem went away.

You can tell someone is on the other side through the bands but not who or what. That is the right amount for an alley. White, and it has stayed white.

We had a block wall at 5ft and wanted more height without rebuilding the whole thing. The 3ft topper sits right on top of it, and the single acrylic band on that size is deep, close to two feet.

Total is around 8ft now and the upper section still passes light. Crew figured out the anchoring on the block themselves. Clean work.

Went all the way to 8ft on the back line because of a two story behind us. Six rails and five acrylic bands, which is the tallest they build before you get into custom sizes.

It is a lot of fence but it does not read heavy, because the bands break the face up. Clay was the right call against our stucco. Posts are set deep in concrete.

We got a lot of rain this winter and I went out looking for standing water at the post bases. Nothing pooling, nothing leaning, and the acrylic did not fog up on the inside.

Our sprinklers throw hard water on the bottom rail and it spots up white after a few weeks. A hose and a rag takes it right off, and the acrylic bands clean the exact same way.

I do it maybe twice a year, and that is the whole maintenance list versus sanding and staining the wood fence we had before. Clay at 6ft and it still looks new.

Nobody can make out anything through the frosted bands. Posts went into concrete in the morning and the crew was cleaned up by three.

Deposit to install ran about five weeks and they told me that up front, so no surprise. I have heard a lot worse from other fence outfits around here.

Panels showed up on the truck already built, not assembled in my driveway. A crew of three had the whole 5ft run in Clay finished the same day. Nobody had to come back.

Ordered the matching gate with the run and I am glad I did. It carries the same rails and bands, so you cannot pick it out of the line unless you look for the hinges.

Swings clean and has not sagged at all since it went in back in June. We did 6ft in White down the side yard and the gate matches the run exactly.

Asked where the vinyl comes from before I signed anything, because I have seen cheap imported panels crack in this sun. Theirs is made in the US and they had no problem telling me.

Two rails got clipped by my mower deck and neither one cracked or chipped, just scuffed. 5ft Tan around the lower yard.

Looked at the version that only carries one acrylic band across the top and went with this one instead. The bands repeat the whole way up here, so light comes in at every level, not just above eye line.

Costs more than the top band version, no question. In a narrow side yard that never got sun it was the right trade. We did 6ft in White.

Put this on a duplex I own in Riverside because I was tired of replacing wood fence sections between tenants. Vinyl does not rot and nobody has to stain it.

Went 6ft Tan on the property line and 4ft White around the shared patio. Four years of no maintenance would pay for the difference, which is the bet I made.

Needed a pool fence that met code without feeling like a wall. Went 5ft in White. The acrylic bands pull light through so the deck does not go dark in the afternoon.

Inspector signed off with no issues. The only surprise was that the gate is a separate order, which I did not catch until we got to scheduling. Worked out fine.

Our run did not divide into 8ft sections cleanly and I figured we would end up with one skinny panel at the end. They cut the last one to the actual measurement instead.

You can see where it is if you count the rails, but the bands still line up across the whole run. That is what I cared about. 6ft Clay.

The 7ft is the odd size in the lineup and the rep walked me through why. Same rail count as the 6ft, but each acrylic band is wider, around 13 inches showing instead of 10.

That extra band depth is the whole point for us. More light into a yard that sits in shade half the day, and the neighbors still see nothing. Tan, in over two days.

My only real gripe is the color list. Three solids and that is it on this panel, no wood grain and no textured blend like some of their other styles carry.

Tan worked for us in the end and looks right against the stucco. If you had your heart set on a wood look, you would have to give up the acrylic to get it.

Did the back line first to see how we felt about it, then had them come back four months later for both side yards. Same crew, and the Tan matched.

No difference in color between the two batches, which was my worry going in. Panels from the second order look identical to the first. Glad we split it into two rounds.

We get the Santa Anas hard up here in the pass and I was worried about the acrylic bands rattling loose. They seat in U-channels on both sides and have not moved an inch.

Went with Tan at 6ft, which comes with a metal insert in every rail. That was the reason I picked Tan over White. One windy season in and nothing has shifted.

Chose Clay partly for how it sits against our brick and partly because Clay and Tan get a metal insert inside every rail. White ships without them, which the rep was straight about.

At 6ft that is five inserts to a section. It feels solid when you lean on it, nothing like the flexy vinyl fence at our old house.

It does the job. Panels are square, the posts are solid, and nobody can see into the yard, so I have no complaint about the product itself.

Scheduling was the weak part for us. Two reschedules before they got out here, both with a call ahead at least. Once the crew showed up it was done in a day. 6ft White.

Called them for a quote and gave them the run length plus the height I wanted. Had a number back the same week, and nobody tried to sell me up to something taller.

No charge for the estimate and no pressure after. We landed on 6ft Tan and the install matched what was on the paper, down to the panel count.

Our side yard drops close to three feet over the run and I assumed we would end up with gaps under the panels. They stepped the sections down the grade instead of trying to rake it flat.

The steps look intentional. There is a small triangle under one panel where the dirt falls away and they filled it with gravel. Fine by me.

Ripped out a redwood fence that had been rotting at the base for years. This replaced it in Clay at 6ft and the difference is night and day. No more staining every other spring.

The horizontal rails read a lot cleaner than the old vertical boards did. Cost more up front than another wood fence would have. I am fine with that.

Half our run sits in soil and the other half runs along a concrete pad. They set posts both ways in the same afternoon and it was not a whole discussion.

Nothing has settled since, going on a year. 6ft in Clay, thirteen sections. The transition where the two surfaces meet is straight enough that you would not notice.

Priced a block wall first and it came back at nearly triple this. Not the same thing, I know, but I wanted privacy and I did not want to wait three months for masonry.

This went up in a day and a half. 6ft Clay for about 90 feet. Two years from now I will know if it was the right call, but so far no complaints.

A full year in the Valley sun and the Tan has not lightened a shade. That was my main worry after watching a neighbors vinyl fence go chalky down the street.

The acrylic has not yellowed either, which I half expected it to. Gets hot to the touch in August like anything else out there. No warping in the rails at all.

Picked White since the house trim is white and it matched close enough. Worth knowing that the White does not get the metal inserts that Clay and Tan do, which the rep told me up front.

At 4ft it has not been an issue. Three rails and two acrylic bands, and it sits well in front of the planter beds. No wobble in the posts either.

We put this in two years before listing the house and the buyers agent asked about it during the walkthrough. The material warranty transfers, which I did not know until I dug up the paperwork.

Small thing, but it helped the conversation. 6ft Tan across the back, and after two summers it still looked the way it did in year one.

Fence is fine and does what it should. The acrylic bands are the selling point and they do pass light, though they show dust a bit more than the vinyl rails do.

Install ran a day later than scheduled with no call until I asked about it. Finished product is straight and square, so I would still use them. 6ft Clay.
