White Horizontal Picket Gates

This Granada Hills side yard had small wood gates that had weathered over the years, paired with a decorative metal gate set into the same run beside the house. Both were replaced as part of the project.

In their place went white horizontal vinyl picket gates, installed along the side of the house where the ground is a mix of gravel and soil beds. The existing walkway and landscaping in that strip stayed in place, with the new gates fitted around them rather than disturbing the layout.

The result is a side-yard enclosure finished in a horizontal picket pattern, closing off the space beside the house while keeping the path and plantings that were already there.
