White Picket Fence, Pasadena

This Pasadena property’s front lawn sat open to the sidewalk before the project, with no fence marking the edge of the yard.

A low white vertical picket fence went in along with matching gates, tracing the property line where it meets the sidewalk and driveway. The posts were set directly in the soil at those edges rather than disturbing the rest of the lawn.

The layout was built around what was already there: the mature trees on the property stayed in place, and the fence keeps a clear view of the home from the street.
