White Picket Railings, Burbank

Before this job, this Burbank home’s front porch and steps sat open, with no railing along either one.

Our crew installed low white vertical vinyl picket railings and fencing along the porch and steps, anchoring the posts directly into the existing concrete porch and walkway.

The result is a defined entry to the house, marked by railing rather than open edges, without closing off the lawn behind it. Along the steps, the new railing gives something to hold onto going up or down, and the white picket line stands out clean against the concrete.

As a senior, with all the symptoms that make navigating steps a potentially dangerous daily task, having handrails installed was a long overdue decision. In this case, that decision also resulted in best price and a great installation. It not only gave a whole new look to the front of the house but it has allowed me to go down steps with confidence and facing forward rather than sidestepping my way down.
