Two Materials, Built to Fit Your Burbank Yard

We install and custom-build fencing in two materials for Burbank homeowners, vinyl and aluminum, each for a different lot. Yards here range from the flat blocks of Magnolia Park to sloped parcels against the Verdugo foothills, so a single fence rarely answers both. Vinyl and aluminum share what matters: a modern look, low upkeep, and no paint, ever.

Vinyl Fences: Custom Heights and Metal-Insert Wind Strength

Vinyl is the versatile, budget-minded choice for most Burbank yards, with privacy, curb appeal, and a finish that never wants paint. The styles run from solid and semi-privacy panels through picket and ranch rail. We fabricate custom heights from 2 to 8 feet, welcoming odd runs and small jobs. On an exposed hillside lot, a concealed metal core, steel within and vinyl outside, keeps a tall run steady.

Aluminum Fencing: Architectural Strength for Burbank Yards

Aluminum is the premium, architectural line: crisp lines that shrug off weather without rust or repainting. It suits a clean, modern profile, from open picket to privacy infill, with welded gates ready for automation. We fabricate heights from 2 to 12 feet, 6 feet the common pick, finished in powder-coat colors.

Built for Burbank’s Winds and Hillsides

Seasonal Santa Ana gusts hit Burbank’s foothill parcels harder than the flatter streets below. On such a lot, a reinforced vinyl fence or an engineered aluminum one stays put where a stock panel would give. We match every build to where your lot actually sits.

What Drives the Cost of a Fence in Burbank?

Your fence price tracks the project itself, not a flat sticker. The movers: material, the run’s height and length, how many gates, site access, and any old fence that has to be pulled. A taller run eats more material and labor, so height genuinely drives cost. Expect a ballpark by phone, then a firm written number once we have walked your lot for free.

Warranties and Real Proof Behind Your Burbank Fence

Every vinyl fence carries a transferable limited lifetime warranty. Aluminum is backed for 20 years on the material, 10 on the powder coating, and 2 on steel components, held valid by a documented cleaning twice a year.

On top of that we add a 5-year workmanship warranty to both. The record is public: building since 2018, a member of the American Fence Association, and a 5.0 rating earned from homeowners across Greater LA over more than 500 five-star reviews.

Services We Offer in Burbank

Burbank homes and businesses take the full range we build in vinyl and aluminum, from privacy and picket runs to gates, pool fencing, and toppers sized for an existing wall.

Color, Home or Business

A commercial perimeter and a back garden do not want the same tone. One should disappear behind planting; the other has to look deliberate from the street. Neither material is painted, so the tone you approve is the tone you keep.

How Vinyl Divides Up

Vinyl does not yellow out under sun, which is the whole point of putting color into the material. Sort the swatches by surface: plain solids, smooth grains like Weathered Aspen and Dark Sequoia, then blends with an uneven tone.

Pro Vinyl and Aluminum Fencing partners with Catalyst, one of the leading vinyl fence manufacturers in the United States. Their US-made vinyl, our custom fabrication and installation, backed by a transferable limited lifetime material warranty.

Aluminum, Coated for Sun

Metal takes the afternoon sun and the finish holds, since it was bonded on under heat instead of painted. The range is narrow though. Three colors, white, black and wood grain, then matte black on its own for contoured slats.

Sizing a Run to the Lot

A gate is not a fence and does not share its ceiling, which the table sorts out first. After that it comes down to use and ground: a yard screen, a boundary marker and a secured opening rarely want the same number on one property.

Fence Installation Across Burbank

About Burbank: A Studio City Against the Verdugos

Burbank sits in Los Angeles County, in the eastern San Fernando Valley about 12 miles from Downtown LA. Settled in 1887 and incorporated in 1911, it is home to roughly 105,000 residents. Its neighborhoods run from Downtown Burbank and Magnolia Park to the studio blocks of the Media District and hillside lots below the Verdugo Mountains.

How Tall Can a Fence Be in Burbank?

In Burbank, a front or street-facing fence generally tops out around 3 feet, and anything above roughly 2 feet in the front setback must be about 50 percent open. Side and rear fences reach up to about 6 feet before extra review applies. These limits come from the Burbank Municipal Code (Title 10) and vary by zone, so verify current numbers with the City of Burbank Planning Division.

Permits and Burbank’s Fence Exception Rules

Standard residential fences within the height limits generally need no building permit in Burbank. Go taller and the project is reviewed through a Fence Exception Permit, a Minor Fence Exception up to 6 feet and a Major Fence Exception above 6 feet. Retaining walls of 4 feet or more get their own review. Confirm what applies to your address with the City of Burbank Planning Division.

Fencing Burbank’s Verdugo Hillside Lots

Homes along the Verdugo foothills sit within Burbank’s Hillside Management Overlay, where fence and wall projects can trigger extra grading, drainage, and geology review. These parcels also sit in a wildfire-interface setting. Confirm hillside specifics with the City of Burbank Planning Division.

Shared Fences, Pools, and HOA Rules in California

When a fence sits on the property line, California’s Good Neighbor Fence Act (Civil Code 841) presumes adjoining owners share the cost equally and asks for 30 days’ notice first.

Around a pool, the state barrier code requires a fence at least 60 inches tall with self-latching gates and no child-sized gaps, and vinyl qualifies as a non-climbable barrier. Some Burbank communities also set fence rules through an HOA, separate from city code.

White Vinyl Privacy Fence, Burbank

This Burbank property had gray horizontal wood or composite gates and panels set between the existing masonry columns. Those panels and gates were removed to open up the same stretch for a new fence line.

In their place, our crew installed a white vinyl privacy fence with matching gates. The gates were built to match the fence panels, so the columns now carry one continuous white vinyl run in place of the older gray horizontal look.

We had gone through 3 different quotes from others and Pro Vinyl was our last quote and it was the BEST QUOTE! In a matter of a week they came and installed the vinyl fence which looks perfect. Hike and Sev did an amazing job.

Common Questions

Common Fence Questions for Burbank Homes

Clear answers to what Burbank homeowners ask most: the height a fence may reach, when a permit or Fence Exception kicks in, what drives a quote, which builds hold up in Santa Ana gusts, the neighborhoods on our route, and where hillside rules apply. Not seeing yours? Ask us, and we will talk it through.

A front or street-facing fence tops out around 3 feet, and anything above about 2 feet in the front setback must be roughly 50 percent open.

Side and rear fences reach up to about 6 feet, with taller possible through a Fence Exception Permit. Verify your zone with Burbank’s Planning Division.

Usually not for a standard fence within the height limits. Go taller than the code allows and it is reviewed through a Fence Exception Permit, with a building permit possible and separate review for retaining walls 4 feet and up.

Confirm what applies to your address with Burbank’s Planning Division.

Every yard differs, so there is no flat price. The drivers are material, the run’s height and length, gates, site access, and any old fence to remove.

A taller fence costs more, using more material. We do not quote from a list: you get a phone ballpark, then a firm number after a free visit.

They can. Homes on the Verdugo foothills fall inside Burbank’s Hillside Management Overlay, where a fence or wall project may need extra grading, drainage, or geology review.

These lots also catch stronger Santa Ana gusts. Confirm the specifics with the City of Burbank Planning Division.

All of Burbank, from Downtown Burbank and Magnolia Park to the Media District and the Verdugo hillside neighborhoods, plus nearby Greater LA.

Estimates are free citywide, and we answer inquiries the same business day. We cover the wider Greater Los Angeles area too.

Two builds handle it well. A footed vinyl fence with our hidden metal insert, metal inside and vinyl outside, holds the line through the gusts this area realistically sees.

Aluminum answers with a rigid welded frame engineered higher still, and either can be reinforced on an exposed lot.
