White Privacy Fence, Encino

This Encino property had a brick-wall boundary with white-painted wood panels that had deteriorated over time. The old wood needed to come out before a new fence line could go in along the lawn.

Our crew removed the failing wood panels and installed a white vinyl privacy fence along the lawn. The new posts are set at the soil side of the masonry line, keeping the fence off the brick wall itself.

Setting the posts on the soil side of the masonry line rather than into it keeps the new fence straighter than the wood boundary it replaced, and produces a more durable enclosure now that the deteriorated painted wood is gone. Aligning the post run against the existing brick wall was part of getting that straight, clean line along its length.
