White Privacy Fence, San Marino

This San Marino side yard sat in shade beside the house, closed off at one end by a weathered wood gate. That gate came out to make room for a new fence line.

In its place went a white vinyl privacy fence with a matching gate, set along the same shaded run beside the house. The posts follow the soil and brick-paver edge that lines the house, so the new fence sits right along that existing edge.

White on the fence and gate keeps the side yard closed in as one line, screening that shaded stretch beside the house.
