White Horizontal Picket Fence, Westchester

This Westchester front lawn had no boundary before, just open grass running straight to the sidewalk and driveway.

Our crew installed a white horizontal vinyl picket fence along the soil perimeter, with posts running beside the sidewalk and driveway edge. The horizontal picket style keeps the line low and open rather than closing the yard off.

With the fence in, the front lawn reads as its own defined space rather than an extension of the sidewalk. The open picket spacing keeps sightlines clear across the yard, and the new boundary marks a contained area at the house instead of an unenclosed lawn.
