Vinyl and Aluminum Fencing for Duarte

Duarte homeowners near Huntington Drive and City of Hope call on us for privacy fencing and clean, modern aluminum lines.

Footage, height, gate count and grading set most of a Duarte number, with removal of anything old that’s coming out folded into the same visit. Call, or have the crew measure your lot near Huntington Drive for a firm figure.

A General Law city built along Route 66

Duarte incorporated on August 22, 1957 as a General Law city in the San Gabriel Valley, about 25 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, and historic Route 66 still runs through town as Huntington Drive.

With roughly 21,727 residents spread across a compact footprint, lots along that corridor and the residential blocks behind it call for posts set true and panels racked to the grade, whether the run faces a busy frontage or a quiet side street. We plan gate placement around driveway width before a single post goes into the ground, so the finished line works with the lot instead of against it.

Services we offer in Duarte

Our lineup covers vinyl privacy, semi-privacy and picket fencing, ranch-style rail runs, pool-code enclosures, wall toppers and custom color options, alongside aluminum privacy, semi-privacy and picket styles with matching gates. Every one of them is available to a Duarte property, sized to the height and style your yard calls for.

Duarte’s fence rules, in brief

Duarte’s Development Code Chapter 19.36 caps solid fencing and walls at 3 feet in the front yard, while side and rear property lines allow open-style fencing up to 42 inches, with solid portions handled under separate standards.

Corner lots typically follow a sight-triangle rule that limits fence height near intersections for visibility, and a pool on the property brings in the state’s own barrier code on top of the local rule. The height that triggers a building permit isn’t published in the code excerpts we can confirm, so permit applicability should be checked directly with Duarte’s Building and Safety Division before a project starts.

What shapes the cost of your fence

A Duarte quote comes down to a short list: linear footage, the height you choose, how many gates and what kind, whether an old fence has to come out, and whether the ground needs grading first. We walk the property, note the specifics, and leave you a real number instead of a guess over the phone.

Route 66, City of Hope and the neighbors nearby

Duarte sits alongside City of Hope National Medical Center and borders Irwindale, Azusa, Monrovia, Sierra Madre and Arcadia, so a crew already working this stretch of the San Gabriel Valley can often reach your project sooner. From a short picket run near Huntington Drive to a full privacy line on a quieter block, the same crew handles the estimate, the build and the paperwork that comes after it all.

Colors Across Both Lines

Vinyl for cover, aluminum for a cleaner line: plenty of properties here end up with both. Settle which material goes where before you touch color, because each one hands you a differently sized list.

Three Vinyl Families

The quiet end of the range keeps its surface flat and its tone plain. From there it warms up: grain tones such as Dark Walnut and Weathered Aspen, then textured blends carrying a depth you only read from close in.

The Aluminum Finishes

Profile settles it on the metal side. Powder coat keeps its color in full sun, and nothing custom is on offer. Grain, white and black reach the privacy, semi-privacy and picket profiles, while the contoured slat holds to matte black.

Height, Style by Style

Materials matter as much as styles here. Vinyl and aluminum run to different ceilings, and a rail line does not answer to the number a solid screen answers to. The city rule sits over all of it.

Duarte Fencing and Local Fence Rules

A San Gabriel Valley city on old Route 66

Duarte incorporated as a General Law city on August 22, 1957, and today holds about 21,727 residents in the San Gabriel Valley, roughly 25 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Historic Route 66 runs through town along Huntington Drive, and City of Hope National Medical Center anchors the community as a well-known local landmark.

Neighbors and layout

Duarte borders Irwindale and Azusa to the east, Monrovia to the west, and Sierra Madre and Arcadia to the south, placing it in a tight cluster of San Gabriel Valley cities. Lot sizes and setbacks shift block to block along the Route 66 corridor, and a fence line that works on a wide parcel near the edge of town often needs a different plan on a tighter residential block closer to Huntington Drive.

What a General Law city means for a fence project

As a General Law city, Duarte’s development standards, including fencing, run through its own Development Code rather than a charter, so the rules that apply here are specific to Duarte, not automatically shared with a neighboring city. Posts and footings get set to hold plumb regardless of which side of town a lot sits on, and gate framing gets sized to the driveway it serves.

Height and permit rules, in brief

Chapter 19.36 of the Duarte Development Code holds solid front-yard fencing to 3 feet, with open-style fencing allowed up to 42 inches along side and rear lines. Corner lots typically carry an added sight-triangle limit near intersections. Confirm current height and permit requirements with Duarte’s Building and Safety Division before you build.

White Privacy Fence, Duarte

This Duarte yard had an aging wood fence and side gate painted red, showing its years along the property line. Our crew removed the old wood fencing and gate, then installed a white vinyl privacy fence with a matching gate in its place.

The new line follows the contour of the lawn and the concrete walk, and the posts were set right at the edges where soil meets hardscape. The yard now has a continuous white vinyl line in place of the old red-painted wood, running clean along both the grass and the walkway.

We are all very happy. They really did an excellent job!!! Nairi, thumbs up for you, very professional young guy.

How a Duarte Fence Project Comes Together

Our Process

A Duarte fence project runs through four stages: a free walk of the yard, a written scope you approve before any work starts, an install day handled by one dedicated crew, and warranty paperwork handed over at the very finish.

Materials, colors, heights and gate count get locked into writing before any post ever goes into the ground.

  1. Free Site Visit

Someone walks the property, checks gate clearances against the driveway, and leaves a straight figure before they go.

  2. Written Contract

You get the scope, materials, colors, heights and gate count on paper before a start date gets set.

  3. Quality Installation

Posts go in plumb along the line, panels and gates follow, and old material is hauled off before wrap-up.

  4. Warranty and Aftercare

Paperwork covers vinyl’s lifetime terms or aluminum’s 20-year and 10-year terms, plus 5-year workmanship coverage.
